from 156 reviewsMy other one broke and so I had to get a new one. It's great b/c I don't have a LOUD alarm to wake the dead. The vibrate shake is just right and to wake me up.
Loud alarm and good shaker
I been used this for many years till I notice recently new one does not have the little button above the clock to press test vibrate but otherwise all work great.
This is something I wish I had found many years ago as other alarm clocks seemed to get quieter and quieter. Lately, I reached the point where the alarm simply didn't wake me up anymore. In searching for an even louder alarm clock, I stumbled across this.
If you are hearing impaired to the point that alarms no longer work, this clock may be your answer. Equipped with an alarm that could wake up neighbours, plus two other surprisingly effective alternatives. For me, it turned out I didn't need a louder alarm - all I needed was the "Shaker". To put it succinctly, "it works". Extremely well.
If you're more visually motivated, it also has an alarm activated strobe light.
All in all, after buying clock after clock, I finally found one that does the job for me, and heartedly recommend it for anyone that has trouble being awakened by a "regular" alarm clock. It is definitely worth the cost!
Just the loud alarm I have been searching for. Easy to set
I have had this clock for 3 days and it is waking me with the vibration of the pillow, the flashing light and the loud alarm.
I could sleep through 20 to 40 minutes with my former alarm clock ringing so this is a big improvement.
Hearing loss is difficult enough to deal with, without being able to find an alarm clock that will get you up in the morning. The Clarity Assure Extra Loud solves the getting up apart. It has a loud alarm that is adjustable in both volume and pitch, so you you turn it down to a level that won't scare your dog
For the profoundly hard of hearing there is a vibrating disc that you can place under your pillow. Unless you are drunk or dead, it will wake you.
And then there is a flashing light display from the face of the clock, that I found not so useful. But you can turn that off.
The vibrating disc and loud alarm can be used in conjunction with one another, or separately, depending on your preferences.
The disc is hard wired to the alarm clock. So your bed had to be close to the table on which you keep the clock.
Shutting off the alarm in the morning is very easy and convenient. There is a large push bar on the top of the clock. Push it quickly when the alarm sounds and you get the snooze feature. The alarm will sound again nine minutes later.
But if you push and hold the bar for three seconds the alarm shuts off and will reset to sound again next morning at the same time.
The clock is a bit on the expensive side. But it does the job. I am happy with my purchase. I just hope it lasts a long time.
I am originally from the States and I always had to change phones to be heard all, My relatives in the US all have cell phones which do not function on long distance well so I was going from land line to land line to be properly heard as cell phone towers get fewer as one goes deeper into the US. Since we have had several deaths in the family and also illnesses as we age hearing well is imperative. Also business call where cell phones were becoming the norm it has made a big difference in those as well as cell phones being provided by officees and hearing those is difficult. Thank you for adding ease to my life as well as hearing necessary information.
I really like new one better . Strobe strong flash wow..awesome..mine old ones not working since 2009..thanks
Absolutely fantastic!!!!!. My apologies because I forgot the agent I spoke too. She is so helpful and pleasant to interact with. She answered all of my questions and looked to see if this cable was available when the site said "out of stock". She found that thete was one left. Again I apologize I forgot her name. This is David I bought it for my Dad. I appreciate all that she did for me. I would recommend this agent to anyone. Thanks again. David Bacolini.
This system is so simple to set up and quality product. Good got another 5 years.
So far, working as it should to waken father to sound / vibration of phone call. Much appreciated the local vendor!
