Paige™ Video Communication Frame: Simple, Secure Video Calling for Seniors and Individuals with Hearing Loss

Stay Connected Without the Technology Struggle

For families caring for aging parents, individuals with hearing loss, or loved ones living with dementia, staying connected can feel like a constant challenge. The Paige™ Video Communication Frame — available at Deaf & Hear Alberta — is designed to remove every barrier between you and the people you love.

Priced at $599 CAD, Paige is a one-time purchase with no monthly fees required, and it includes 3 months of the optional premium Family Plan (a $60 value).

What Is the Paige™ Video Communication Frame?

Paige is a simple video communication device that looks like a familiar digital clock. When a family member calls through the Paige Connect™ app, the person at home sees and hears their loved one — no answering required, no menus to navigate, no passwords to remember.

It's designed specifically for people who are uncomfortable with technology, including:

  • Seniors living independently
  • Individuals with hearing loss
  • People living with dementia or Alzheimer's disease
  • Those with mobility challenges
  • Long-term care and assisted living residents

Key Features

  • Always-on video communication — no action needed from your loved one
  • No passwords, menus, or complicated setup on the receiving end
  • Secure, invite-only family connections — enterprise-grade privacy
  • High-volume audio — up to 96 dB SPL at the speakers, ideal for individuals with hearing loss
  • Live captioning coming soon — the device updates automatically
  • Multiple family members can connect via the Paige Connect™ app (iOS and Android)
  • Supports independent living and reduces caregiver stress between visits

How Paige Works

Setup is straightforward. Family members and caregivers download the Paige Connect™ app on their smartphone and are added as approved contacts. From there, making a video call is as simple as tapping a button. The person at home sees familiar faces on the screen automatically — no interaction needed on their end.

Paige connects via Wi-Fi or a SIM card, making it flexible for a variety of home environments.

Why Paige Is a Strong Fit for Individuals with Hearing Loss

At Deaf & Hear Alberta, we specialize in assistive technology for the deaf and hard of hearing community. Paige stands out because it combines visual communication with high-output audio (60–70 dB SPL at typical seating distance, up to 96 dB SPL at the speaker), and live captioning support is on the way. For individuals who rely on lip reading or visual cues, the large, clear video display makes a meaningful difference.
