A terrific device for someone who has a hearing loss and does not wear hearing aids or someone who needs a little extra volume in a difficult listening situation.

Portable, battery operated, and easy to use with the included headphones or earbuds. 


The adjustable tone control is great at helping to clarify those words a hard of hearing person struggles with in the lost frequencies. 

Also enjoy wonderful sound performance when you combine the Pocketalker with a Neckloop and T-switch-equipped hearing aid or cochlear implant.
 
New features in this updated Pocketalker model include a new ergonomic design to the exterior case, an internal microphone, and a built-in T-coil.  

Where an induction loop hearing assistance system is set up, the T-coil switch should be turned on to receive audio through the Pocketalker 2.0. If you have hearing aids/cochlear implants with T-coil, you will not need to use the T-coil switch on the side of the Pockettalker. 
 

The device still includes a plug-in microphone and, for the TV listener, an extension cable for the microphone to be placed closer to the TV speaker or passed around a small group of people.

The battery life of up to 106 hours promises long-lasting performance.

Great for 1-on-1 conversations, visits to the doctor's office, pharmacy, lawyer or listening to the TV and radio, listening to conversations in the car, or in small groups.

Product Review

Works well and as expected. Suggested upgrades:

1. Add blue tooth capability so head phones and ear buds can be wireless.
2. Add a clip to the neck strap to make it easier to put around the neck.
3. Make the neck strap so the length can be adjusted.

For Grandma

My grandma is in DSL4 care and one of her hearing aids went missing and the PocketTalker was our immediate solution because her hearing is so poor. I had her immediate attention when we turned it on and while it's not a replacement for her digital hearing aids it's working well enough for her to interact with the staff and have video calls with family.
Shockingly none of them had know such a thing existed which seems to be a disservice to the product. May I suggest sending a brochure packet out to every DSL3 and 4 facility in Alberta? Something this relatively inexpensive should be in every senior's care facility.

I'm having problems

I was having problems. But since conferring with Kathy I seem to have found the best way to use the product.

This product is just ok----I think that my hearing is still the problem
However your customer service is outstanding---I ordered it at100pm one day and recieved it the next day
